NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH

I would like to preface this About Me page with the statement that I am a Christian following the teaching and examples of Jesus according to the scriptures. In following Jesus, I must state that in all of Jesus teachings he always gave praise, honor and glory to the Father God as did his disciples. We sometimes forget this! Jesus declared that God in heaven is "the Only true God,...." John 17:3. My desire is to unite God's people all over the world and to bring the people back to the knowledge that God is One and that his desire is for us to be One. Jesus prayed to God that God's people should be One even as he Jesus and God were One. John 17: 22-23.
Having said that and the reason I had to preface this About Me page will become clear as you read the rest of this page. Some time ago I was contacted privately by a Muslim brother; asking if I were a Muslim. What you read below was my public answer to that Muslim and my answer to all that will ask that same question:
I suppose you would like the short answer of either yes or no, however, before I give you the short answer I would like to tell you a little about myself first. After being raised in Christianity I begin a search for truth because I felt that I had not totally received it and that something was wrong in the teaching. I prayed and asked God (Allah) to teach me for if he were to teach me I would not be deceived because man would deceive me. After making that prayer, I begin to see new things even from the same Bible I was reading- all of a sudden the scriptures I had read many times and been taught from had new meanings to me- Revelations! I sought out different churches and religions including Islam and others. Though there were different method of worshiping and different views and concepts on how to worship; One true God was the common thread in them all!
By definition, I could be defined as Muslim; for defintion states that a Muslim is one who submit his will to do the will of Allah (God) and I do practice submitting my will to do the will of God. I believe in the Prophets and also the teaching of Jesus. I believe that God, not in the sense of the meaning of begetting( for to beget imply a sexual relationship) but in the sense of creating, is the Father of us all! I have studied the Bible as well as the QUR-AN and both direct us to love one another. I came back to Christianity as a nondenominational, non traditional, teacher and preacher and seek to bring unity to God's people (including Muslims and Christians) worldwide in the service to God and man. My belief is that in the day we come together in love and in service to God and not the dictations of man to be separate is the day we Shall see God and the magnitude of his glory!
